Poor access to healthcare is one of the most pressing challenges faced by the vulnerable and marginal sections of society. Through our medical intervention program, we ensure that our beneficiaries and all those in need have access to affordable healthcare and receive timely treatment. These interventions are carried out in collaboration with our network of healthcare partners: hospitals, primary clinics, laboratories and pharmacies. Whenever a medical case is brought to our attention, we first conduct a background check and investigate the patient’s socioeconomic status. After considerable research on relevant government schemes and other sources of financial assistance, we guide the patient and his/her family and help them seek affordable and quality healthcare.
Parinaam conducts free medical camps periodically across all the regions in the country. We conduct eye, ENT, dental and diabetes camps, as well as camps in other specialized medical fields. The camps are conducted with the aim to create awareness among the beneficiaries. Through the camps, we also identify patients with ailments and help them receive medical treatment at affordable costs. In addition to organizing health camp days, Parinaam conducts health camps in the anganwadis, where the children and their mothers undergo medical screening. We have set up a donor provided Medical Relief Fund to cover costs for patients who are unable to afford treatment.
We also conduct several other activities as a part of our Healthcare programme. Some of these activities include blood donation camps, awareness programmes as well as health education for our beneficiaries. All our initiatives are aimed at equipping our beneficiaries with the necessary knowledge that they require to make health conscious decisions that will have a positive impact on them and their families.
